A cartoon fox who stutters named Franky Banky is sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle and talking to a cartoon tiger named Ti-Ger. Fray Banky says, “Now now now tha that you’re 16, it’s time for you to to learn how to dr drive”.
“Even if it is in a cement truck”, continues Franky Banky. Illustration of a cement truck.
“Ok, tur tur turn on the engine.”, Framy Banky says as he hands Ti-Ger the key. “And remember…”
“Safety fiiirrrrrst!”, Franky Banky tells as Ti-Get suddenly drives really, really fast and off the road!”.
“AUGH!”, yells Franky Banky as Ti-Ger continues to drive the cement truck at lightning speed. “Slow down! Slow down!” And finally, Franky Banky tells “Pull over before we—“
They drive off a cliff. Franky Banky sarcastically says “oh great.” The cliff is so high that a mountain goat can be seen.
Meanwhile, a female fox and tiger are having coffee. The female fox says “Dating is just so much work”.
The female tiger replies, you can’t expect men to fall from the sky!” as a shadow forms over them.
Suddenly, a WUMP!
Franky Banky and Ti-Ger crash land their cement truck right next to the ladies. Franky Banky waves to them and says, “um, hi lay lay ladies!”.

Author’s commentary

During a recent conversation with my friend, Greg Snyder, who created the Ti-Ger Analogy of Stuttering, he mentioned that it has been about 16 years since I created Ti-Ger! Since the legal driving age is 16 years old where I live, I thought it would be funny to draw a comic strip of Ti-Ger learning how to drive. What kind of a driver would Ti-Ger be since he is a metaphor of Franky Banky’s stuttering? 😄

The title (and panel where they run off a cliff) is a tribute to Looney Tunes cartoons which I have been a huge, huge fan since I was a little kid. There is a 1949 Roadrunner and Coyote cartoon named “Fast and Furry-ous”. I left out the hyphen to help differentiate things 😉

I’m also trying a new colour scheme with this comic. The addition of light grey. Looks like I may need to add a fourth shade.

While I made a joke about driving too fast, I’d like to mention that driving too fast is dangerous and a threat to lives. Note the plural. It’s also a very stupid thing to do. What happens in a fictional and cartoon world (and in the movies and TV) is in a controlled and fictional environment as is in no way a reflection of real life. So don’t act like a fictional cartoon tiger and start driving like a lunatic. It is not funny in real life. You’re also not going to meet women that way. Only in fictional stories.

And don’t get me started on the spoliers.
